Adult art workshop

Fridge art for the grown ups!

Is your refrigerator covered with your child's masterpieces?  Why not add one of your own?  Local painter Greg Maichack is offering a pastel workshop in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe on Thursday, June 14, from 5-7 at the Jones Library.

Next time you're in the Jones, register at the main office, pay your $10, and go home to clear off some space for your artwork on the fridge!

LSSE wants your feedback!

ATTENTION: STUDENTS, PARENTS, COACHES AND TEACHERS!

The LSSE Commission wants to hear what YOU have to say about youth sports!
  • What are the barriers to participation?
  • How can we increase participation in girls' sports?
  • What can we do to improve sports programs?
  • How can we keep kids moving for the health of our community?
ALL are encouraged to join us at the ARHS Library on Thursday,  March 29th at 7PM to make local youth sports a better experience for everyone!

At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Regional School Committee has voted to make-up the school closure of March 1st on April 6, Good Friday, rather than during the April break. As a result, the full April break will remain intact. Families are asked to adjust their calendars accordingly. Students who are absent for religious observations on April 6 should simply present a parent’s or guardian's note upon their return to school.

This is different than the original announced make-up date, so please check your calendars!

Also, the School Committee has approved next year's calendar.  Click here to view the 2012-2103 calendar.
