Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Dance Department is putting on a special kid-friendly Saturday matinee performance of select works by PVPA’s highly accomplished student dance companies: WOFA (West African Dance and Drum), Catalyst (Contemporary Dance Company) and Momentum (PVPA’s newest company), plus guest artists performing a wide range of different styles from tap, to improvisation, to West African. This one-hour performance was created in partnership with PVPA’s Dance Education Laboratory outreach program! Children of all ages will enjoy this interactive and fun exploration of different styles and dimensions of dance. Come prepared to participate in the joy of dance!
